Hulk Hogan
Terrence „Terry“ Gene Bollea, bekannt unter seinem Ringnamen Hulk Hogan, ist ein ehemaliger US-amerikanischer Wrestler und Schauspieler. Während seiner Zeit war er in den 1980ern der bekannteste und erfolgreichste Akteur im Wrestling-Geschäft. Er erlangte weit über das Wrestling hinaus Bekanntheit und wurde Teil der US-amerikanischen Popkultur der 1980er-Jahre. Seine Popularität bescherte ihm Gastauftritte sowie Hauptrollen in Fernsehserien, TV-Shows und Kinofilmen.
Berühmt wurde er als Aushängeschild der World Wrestling Federation (WWF, heute WWE) in den 1980er-Jahren. Die WWF stieg unter Hogan zum unbestrittenen internationalen Marktführer auf, mit einem Quasi-Monopol in den USA. Er gewann sechs Mal den höchsten Titel der WWF, seine erste Regentschaft dauerte ganze vier Jahre. 1994 unterzeichnete er bei World Championship Wrestling (WCW).
