Timothée Chalamet
Timothée Hal Chalamet (* 27. Dezember 1995 in New York City, New York) ist ein US-amerikanisch-französischer Schauspieler.
2012 war er in der Spionageserie Homeland als Finn Walden, der Sohn des US-amerikanischen Vizepräsidenten, zu sehen. 2014 gelang ihm dann auch im Film der Durchbruch. So spielte er die Rolle des jungen Tom, den Sohn der Hauptfigur Cooper, in Christopher Nolans Science-Fiction-Film Interstellar.
2017 war er in Filmen wie Lady Bird und Call Me by Your Name zu sehen. Für seine Darstellungen erhielt er jeweils viel Kritikerlob und konnte für letzteren Film auch Preise, etwa den Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award als Bester Hauptdarsteller gewinnen. Er ist die jüngste Person seit Mickey Rooney im Jahr 1940, der für einen Oscar als Bester Hauptdarsteller nominiert wurde.
2019 feierte das Historiendrama The King bei den Internationalen Filmfestspiele von Venedig seine Premiere. Chalamet übernimmt darin die Hauptrolle des jungen Königs Heinrich V..
